Email Mark Rheolwr Ymchwil a Datblygu Iechyd y Cyhoedd

Er 2008, mae Mark Griffiths wedi gweithio i Public Health England (yr Asiantaeth Diogelu Iechyd yn flaenorol) ac mae bellach yn Rheolwr Ymchwil a Datblygu yng Nghyfarwyddiaeth Polisi, Ymchwil a Datblygu Rhyngwladol Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru. Mae’n arwain y gwaith o weithredu Strategaeth Ymchwil Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru sydd yn amlinellu’r blaenoriaethau a’r ymrwymiadau i Iechyd  Cyhoeddus Cymru feithrin diwylliant fydd yn caniatáu creu syniadau ymchwil newydd ac arfer gorau wedi ei lywio gan dystiolaeth. Mae hefyd yn bennaeth ar y Swyddfa YaD sydd yn rheoli llywodraethu ymchwil ar gyfer y sefydliad. Mae’n cynrychioli Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru ar Fforwm GIG Cymru ar gyfer Rheoli Ymchwil a Datblygu mewn Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol (FORWARD) a Grŵp Cymorth a Chyflenwi Ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal Cymru.

Mae gan Mark brofiad helaeth mewn ymchwil rhyngwladol a rheoli prosiectau ym maes rheoli peryglon amgylcheddol iechyd y cyhoedd yn cynnwys datblygu canllawiau, systemau rhybuddio’n gynnar, olrhain a gwyliadwriaeth, ac asesu’r bygythiad a’r perygl i iechyd yn sgil baich clefydau o beryglon amgylcheddol. Mae wedi rheoli prosiectau ac wedi cyfrannu at arbenigedd technegol i dendrau amrywiol wedi eu hariannu gan DG SANCO a FP7, prosiectau ac ymarferion ymchwil yn cynnwys y Rhwydwaith Asesu’r perygl Cemegol ac Ymbelydredd; Datblygu System Rybuddio ar gyfer Datblygu Systemau Gwyliadwraeth Iechyd ar gyfer Bygythiadau Iechyd (ASHT); Ymateb Iechyd y Cyhoedd i’r pecyn cymorth Argyfyngau Digwyddiadau Cemegol, Safoni Dulliau Dadansoddi Labordai ac Ymarfer Quicksilver. Roedd Mark yn olygydd gwadd ar gyfer rhifyn arbennig yn y cyfnodolyn Environment International (Cyfrol 72, Tachwedd 2014).
