The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) has launched a photo competition with the aim of celebrating what 'public health looks like'. There are cash prizes and free memberships up for grabs and in addition to that, the top twenty photo's will be promoted amongst the entire membership who will vote for their favourite images.
Patient experience survey results to improve research practice

Nearly nine out of ten patients who took part in research last year said they had a good experience and 83 per cent said they would be happy to take part in another study, according to the Patients Research Experience Survey run by the NIHR Clinical Research Network.

Increased grant funding for public innovation

The Innovate to Save Fund is now offering up to £30,000 for projects exploring new ideas to improve and generate savings for Welsh public services. A second round of bidding is currently open for the Innovate to Save Fund, a joint initiative between the Welsh Government, Nesta, Cardiff University and WCVA.
