Research Assistant/Research Associate, CASCADE

Cardiff University School of Social Sciences is seeking to recruit an experienced Research Assistant or Research Associate to work within the Children’s Social Care Research and Development Centre (CASCADE). The successful candidate will work on research projects for the What Works Centre for Children’s Social Care.

The What Works Research Programme is led by the Children’s Social Care Research and Development Centre (CASCADE). The successful applicant will also contribute to the research record of the University through commitment to carrying out research leading to the publishing of work in high-quality journals. To pursue excellence in research and to inspire others to do the same.

Candidates must be willing to travel across the UK and be flexible regarding working hours to meet the needs of research participants.

This is a full time post of 35 hours per week and fixed term until 31st March 2020.

Salary:
  • £27,025 - £31,302 per annum (Grade 5 - Research Assistant)
  • £33,199 - £39,609 per annum (Grade 6 - Research Associate)
