New Job Opportunity: Health Economist

An exciting and new role for a driven Health Economist to lead the application of health economics in population health within the Policy, Research and International Development Directorate of Public Health Wales.

There is an increasing need to build the economic and social argument to support health. Drawing on extensive knowledge of health economic methodologies and experience in applying these to population health systems, the successful applicant will be working with others to generate and use evidence to influence a wide range of audiences to improve population health. The successful post holder will be a driven individual strengthening our capabilities to generate and use health economic evidence to inform prioritisation within Public Health Wales and across our key stakeholders, and build on links within our newly assigned World Health Organization Collaboration Centre, Investing for Health and Wellbeing.

Salary - £31,697 to £41,787 per annum
