Job vacancy: Senior Research Associate in Public Health, Bristol Medical School

This post offers an opportunity for an enthusiastic public health researcher with strong epidemiological skills to join the Centre for Public Health in the Bristol Medical School. The successful applicant will contribute to systematic reviews and data analysis focusing on interventions to prevent multiple-risk behaviours in young people, contributing to the overall delivery, completion and dissemination of the work of the Centre. There will also be opportunity to contribute to other projects in the Centre, such as an ongoing review of school-based interventions to prevent mental ill-health in children and adolescents.  Previous experience of systematic reviews will be an advantage.

The post is based in our Canynge Hall building. The School offers professional development through its highly regarded programme of short courses in research methods (https://www.bristol.ac.uk/medical-school/study/short-courses), which are available free of charge to all staff. Funding is secured until 31/01/20 with the possibility of extension subject to further grant success.
