An exciting opportunity has arisen at Health and Care Research Wales Support & Delivery Centre for a senior professional to drive the communications, public engagement and public involvement agenda on behalf of Health and Care Research Wales.
Health and Care Research Wales' aim is to make Wales internationally recognised for excellent health and social care research that has a positive impact on the health, wellbeing and prosperity of the people in Wales.
The Support & Delivery Centre provides centralised, nationwide support for Wales’ health and social care research community, including an integrated Communications, Engagement & Involvement service.
The Communications, Engagement & Involvement service is critical to Health and Care Research Wales' success, ensuring effective communication and engagement with, and involvement of, all audiences, from the public, patients and service users, health and social care staff and academic researchers through media and cultural influencers to funders, the life sciences industry and peer organisations internationally.
The post holder will have a defining role, strategically leading the Communications, Engagement & Involvement service to ensure Welsh Government policy objectives for Health and Care Research Wales are effectively met. The post holder will be responsible for setting the strategy, be accountable for the Communications, Engagement & Involvement service and line managing staff as appropriate within the Communications, Engagement & Involvement team, ensuring the team achieves results in line with agreed objectives.

Location: Cardiff/Brecon
Salary: £61,777 - £72,597
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
