Life Sciences Hub Wales would like to invite you to a special event with world-renowned health inequalities expert, Sir Michael Marmot.
Sir Michael is Professor of Epidemiology at University College London, Director of the UCL Institute of Health Equity and Immediate Past President of the World Medical Association. He is also a member of the Bevan Commission, through which he makes valuable contribution to the Welsh health agenda.
He has spent most of his life working to understand and address health inequality. He has published papers looking at the health gap and social status, conducted several reviews into health inequalities for both the British Government and WHO Euro, and chairs the Commission on Equity and Health Inequalities in the Americas.
