Making decisions about research for others - how can we support families?

Are you involved in research with people with impaired capacity to consent?

Are you a relative or carer of someone living with dementia?

NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow Victoria Shepherd and her team are developing a tool to help families make decisions about research on behalf of someone who is not able to decide for themselves.

They are looking for family members, carers, researchers, research nurses and others with an interest in this area to join us at a discussion and feedback event on 25 March, 09.30 - 12.30 in Cardiff (venue TBC) to help develop the decision aid. 

Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
