FREE RDCS Ideas Event

09 Apr

Glamorgan Building, Cardiff

The Research Conduct Design Service (RDCS) South East Wales is pleased to announce their forthcoming FREE workshop on ‘Developing a research idea’. The event will take place on Tuesday 9th April 2019, and is aimed at staff in the health and social care sector.

The aim of the workshop is to for you to develop or progress an idea for a research project. Your may have an idea in the very early stages that needs shaping, or be further along and thinking about a suitable design. We will focus on the thinking and actions you will need to take to consolidate your idea, so that it could later be developed into a funding application.

The workshop will be facilitated by expert research consultants who are experienced in supporting clients from a variety of health and social care backgrounds and specialities. The day will begin with some short presentations about the general process of taking a research idea and growing it into a funded project. Following that will be an open forum for discussion and development of ideas in small groups, facilitated by RDCS consultants.

“I have had lots of research ideas for a long time, this day has finally enabled me to identify a focused research question, as well as first steps to move forward. Very valuable/informative. Consultants easy to ask questions” Delegate, 2018 Workshop
