Claudine graduated from King’s College London in 2001 with a BSc (Hons) Pharmacology. After graduation, Claudine worked as an editor on biomedical journals and in a medical communications agency before undertaking an MSc in Science, Culture and Communication at the University of Bath, graduating in 2005.
Claudine then joined the Wales Gene Park at Cardiff University as their Public Engagement Officer, developing and implementing a diverse and innovative all-Wales engagement programme. After leaving the Wales Gene Park, Claudine worked at Research Councils UK as a Policy Manager between 2012 and 2014 with responsibility for managing UK-wide programmes and identifying, promoting and supporting opportunities for collaborative inter-Council working as well as developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with other organisations.
Since October 2014, she has been working as Academic and Research Business Manager at Public Health Wales within Policy, Research and International Development. She provides management and business support of academic and local, national and international research projects; contributes to the development of new research programmes within Public Health Wales and in collaboration with academics and other stakeholders; and supports the communication of research projects and other work from the directorate.
