Jiao is a Public Health Research Statistician in Research & Evaluation Division, Public Health Wales. Jiao provides statistical advice and leadership on the design and analysis to deliver innovative research and evaluation programmes supporting population health.
Jiao’s research interest is the methodological development for longitudinal data analysis and its applications to health science. Prior joining PHW, she worked for the Farr Institute of Health Informatics Research and Health Data Research UK in Swansea University Medical School. She has led statistical analysis in a number of research projects using routinely-collected linked data in Secure Anonymised Information Linkage (SAIL) Databank.
Jiao graduated from Swansea University with a BSc in Actuarial studies, MRes in Stochastic Processes and PhD in Probability. Jiao is a fellow of Royal Statistical Society.
