Diana joined the team as a Senior Research and Evaluation Officer in July 2019. Prior to her appointment at Public Health Wales, Diana worked as an Evidence and Evaluation Support Officer at South Gloucestershire Council where she was involved in diverse health service evaluation projects commissioned by the local authority and the NHS including the Tier 3 Weight Management Service and the Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment in Primary Care.
Diana has international research experience and has been involved in diverse research projects in the field of nutrition and physical activity in vulnerable population groups in Mexico, the USA and the UK. Diana holds an MSc in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Public Health from the University of Bristol and completed her PhD at the University of Birmingham –investigating frailty and nutrition and physical activity behaviours in older migrant women living in the UK.
